Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
You might have noticed something a little… odd.
You might have noticed something that you just couldn’t quite put your cursor on…
You might have noticed that Somersaulting Through Life has undergone plastic surgery (or rather, digital surgery).
Life changing, I know! Sorry to all who are viewing this on a tablet or device, you may not be able to see the pretty stripes on the sides (be proactive, go and look at it on a computer!*). New theme, new background, new colour scheme, rearranged widgets… Also, over the following few days I will be adding more widgets to the right-hand sidebar…
Woohoo! Party! Yaaaaay!
For those interested, the theme is called Ari, which was added to WordPress a few days ago (I know, I know, I’m very “in with it.”) So far, I’m lovin’ it like a Happy Meal. It’s extremely versatile and customisable, but still makes everything easy to manage and to coordinate. Although I loved Pink Touch 2, I was desperate for sidebars and found that aspect of the design irritating; hence, the swap. Ari also has a scroll feature, so instead of having to click “older posts,” all you have to do is scroll down and new posts will load!
Whoop, whoop! Hoorah! Hooray!
*I’m joking, that’s why I put a picture of it up there. Aren’t I thoughtful?**
**I’ll be honest with you, I really wasn’t thinking about saving you time or energy, I was thinking more along the lines of, “Oh no! Tablet readers won’t be able to see the dazzlingly exquisite stripes which I made! Poor, poor stripes. I can hear their heartfelt sorrow now, their straight lines of pixels quivering with each whimper. I’ll have to put an image in the post so that their unquestionably awe-inspiring symmetry gains the attention that it deserves…”***
***Apologies for the randomness of this post. The next one will be more sensible.
